In your capacity as an officially approved Line Maintenance Manager (Form 4 Holder), you will lead a team of maintenance technicians and oversee the timely and proper execution of all maintenance activities in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and CAMO (CAMOBw) requirements for the CH-47F (GE) weapon system. In this role, you will monitor compliance with all relevant DEMAR 145 regulations set by the German Military Aviation Authority (LufABw), the maintenance organization exposition of Boeing Deutschland GmbH, and occupational health and safety regulations, as well as human factors principles.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory Responsibility: You assume the official role of the Form 4 holder (Nominated Line Maintenance Manager) toward the German Military Aviation Authority (LufABw) as the competent aviation authority.

  • Site Operations Management: You lead, coordinate, and are responsible for all line maintenance operations at the site and, if required, at outside facilities.

  • Compliance & Auditing: You ensure seamless compliance with all DEMAR 145 and other relevant military and civil aviation regulations, the maintenance organization exposition (MOE), as well as applicable health, safety, and environmental protection regulations.

  • Resource & Shift Planning: You efficiently and effectively manage the deployment of personnel (certifying staff, technicians) within the maintenance teams — including any subcontractors — tools, and materials to ensure smooth operations across a regular 5-day workweek, and beyond if required.

  • Aircraft Availability: In close coordination with the CAMO and the operator LTG 64, you ensure the punctual, safe, and compliant Release to Service of aircraft for daily flight operations at the site and, if applicable, at outside facilities.

  • Stakeholder Management: Reporting directly to the Accountable Manager of the Part 145 organization, you work closely with him/her, the CAMO, internal quality and safety management, as well as the operator LTG 64.

  • Safety Culture: You actively promote and monitor the operational Safety Management System (SMS) and compliance with Human Factors principles.

Basic Qualifications (Required skills/experience):

  • Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”

  • Expert Knowledge: Deep knowledge of EASA / EMAR regulations (Parts 145, 66, CAMO, 21) and other relevant military aviation regulations, as well as operational, occupational health, safety, and environmental protection regulations, with a willingness to familiarize yourself thoroughly if necessary

  • Security Clearance: Willingness to undergo a security clearance check (at least Ü2 level according to the German Security Clearance Act / SÜG) is strictly mandatory

  • Leadership Skills & Working Style: You are a seasoned leader with appropriate assertiveness, strong decision-making skills, and high safety awareness. You possess excellent communication and interactive skills alongside a pragmatic "hands-on mentality" that perfectly fits your team of 15 employees

  • Proficiency in English

  • Candidates must have the right to live and work in Germany

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills & Experience):

  • Hold EU Level 2 Secret Clearance is an asset.

  • Currently hold a DEMAR Part-66 B1.3 or B2 license

  • Degree in engineering or at least a Master Craftsman (Meister) qualification. A willingness to undergo intensive training on the CH-47F (GE) weapon system is mandatory

  • Professional Experience: At least 3 years of leadership responsibility within an EASA / EMAR / DEMAR 145 or equivalent organization, ideally in a comparable management role

  • Eligibility for Approval: After start Full compliance with all prerequisites for nomination as "Form 4" personnel by the German Military Aviation Authority (LufABw)
