Boeing Global Services is currently seeking a Mid-Level Proposal Integrator to become part of the Vertical Lift Training team located in Hazelwood, MO.

The Vertical Lift Training team is responsible for pulling together the proposal inputs from the Training Systems teams that are responsible for the design, development, manufacture, maintenance of training devices, and courseware for a wide variety of helicopters.

The successful candidate will have skills and experience in leading the activities of proposal development. The successful candidate will also have the ability to leverage existing technologies, resolve cross-functional issues, and support projects from RFP to Baseline. Extensive familiarity with leading proposal development with Training Systems engineering teams is preferred. This position involves frequent interaction with customer partners and suppliers and may require occasional travel to installation sites, suppliers, and other Boeing facilities.

Position Responsibilities:

The qualified candidate will be a part of the technical proposal team and will perform the following responsibilities:

  • Lead the proposal development including the development and documentation of planned technical approach
  • Ability to decompose Statement of Work (SOW) to determine capability impact
  • Analyze customer request/change requests/customer issues and develop estimates and determine risks and alternative solutions
  • Responsible for the documentation of the Engineering Basis of Estimate, Trade Studies, Request for Information (RFI) and Bill of Material (BOM’s) if required
  • Identify and cultivate process improvements in the engineering proposal process, integration procedures and system design
  • Lead Executability reviews for proposal activities
  • Participate in Customer and Supplier negotiations
  • Develop and maintain relationships/partnerships with the entire team including but not limited to the capability teams, program management, leadership team and customers
  • Serve as primary Engineering point of contact for proposal activities
  • Exercises critical thinking and innovative problem solving
  • Demonstrates Boeing behaviors in a deliberate and observable way
  • May be requested to support other programs or perform other duties as assigned
  • Ability and willingness to take ownership of work activities to ensure they are completed accurately and efficiently

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 3+ years of related work experience
  • Experience collaborating within an engineering team in an on-site work environment
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with Engineering proposal generation
  • Experience with project management, planning and cost estimating

Summary Pay Range: $99,450- $134,550

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
