Boeing Global Services (BGS) Consumables & Expendables (C&E) Distribution Business is looking for a Marketing & Sales Representative (f/m/d) for the Norderstedt, GER facility.

The Sales Lead serves as a key point of contact for Team Customer Escalation, providing daily workload oversight, prioritization, and coordination to ensure timely resolution of customer needs.

This role is responsible for growing existing accounts by meeting key performance indicators (KPIs), while building strong cross functional relationships that support stakeholder engagement in customer activities, account strategy, and long-term growth.

The Sales Lead balances short-term transactional opportunities with long-term strategic account development, adapting their approach based on account type, customer potential, and business need. This role requires a strong blend of transactional selling, consultative selling, customer relationship management, and cross-functional coordination.

Position Responsibilities:

Customer Management and Sales Execution

  • Balance short-term transactional needs with long-term account growth to maximize customer value and business performance.
  • Adapt sales approach based on account type, customer maturity, market potential, and opportunity size.
  • Alternate between transactional and consultative selling methods to achieve optimal customer outcomes.
  • Qualify, quote, negotiate, and close both transactional orders and higher-value strategic opportunities.
  • Identify and pursue upsell, cross-sell, and value-add opportunities across product lines and services.
  • Support territory strategies and execute customer account plans in alignment with sales management direction.
  • Develop new business opportunities using product knowledge, market insight, and customer intelligence.
  • Work with sales management to establish strategic customer relationships, long-term customer contracts, and value-added service strategies.
  • Participate in customer meetings as needed, supporting discussions with limited scope and responsibility while maintaining professionalism and follow-through.
  • Serve as a key customer contact for designated accounts and support ownership of assigned customer relationships.

Customer Escalation and Team Support

  • Lead customer escalation activities by coordinating issue resolution, communication flow, and internal alignment.
  • Oversee daily workload management for the team to ensure priorities, commitments, and service levels are met.
  • Monitor open actions, track progress, and ensure timely escalation of risks, delays, or unresolved issues.
  • Support training and onboarding activities for new team members.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and operational support to improve team effectiveness and consistency.
  • Help maintain standard work, processes, and documentation related to customer management and escalation handling.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across functions to support customer satisfaction and business performance.
  • Partner with sales, operations, customer service, program management, finance, and other teams to ensure seamless customer support.
  • Contribute to team discussions, business reviews, and account strategy sessions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance customer experience, efficiency, and sales performance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of related work experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Must be able to communicate and interact with all levels of management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • An equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job-training, or work experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple competing priorities

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of Supervisory Experience
