Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for Tool Coordinator to join our TDRC Fulfillment team in Algona, WA.

This position will facilitate the acquisition of commodities authorized by Tool Fabrication using procurement systems and processes. The Tooling Coordinator will identify and recommend appropriate solutions to meet manufacturing and process needs. They will review delivery and receiving statuses to meet Tool Fabrication requirements. This role will satisfy requirements for non-production materials, portable tools (capital/expense), perishable tools, and shop supplies in support of Tool Fabrication and Manufacturing.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assesses Tool Fabrication requirements and verifies customer requests
  • Coordinates with support organizations to resolve manufacturing issues
  • Works with contract administrators to develop and maintain procurement specifications and standards
  • Provides guidance and improvement suggestions to outside suppliers and other analysts
  • Participates in the analysis and research of new technology to provide state-of-the-art cost-effective products
  • Gathers manufacturing and product information to develop and recommend solutions to Tool Fabrication requirements
  • Investigates changes in Tool Fabrication requirements and support emergent requests
  • Analyzes, procures and oversees procurement processes for manufacturing tool services, products and services
  • Explores all possible options to resolve potential impacts to budget and manufacturing schedules
  • Supports the evaluation of outside supplier performance and verification of compliance with procedures and contract specifications
  • Reviews on-hand inventory and coordinates re-distribution
  • Participates in the plans for the removal of obsolete inventory
  • Works under limited supervision

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst 
  • 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access) 
  • 3+ years of experience with financial reporting 
  • 3+ years of experience with Material Management and Inventory Control 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree
  • 5+ years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required
  • 3+ years of experience in CRIBMASTER and/or processes related to managing Tool Cribs and systems analysis 
  • 3+ years of data analytics experience (using Excel formulas and functions)

Summary pay range (Level 3): $ 81,600 - $ 87,900    

Summary pay range (Level 4): $ 98,850 - $103,300
