  • Prepare engineering documentation, reports, analyses, and technical recommendations
  • Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical data
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, Defence personnel, OEM teams, and maintenance partners
  • Provide direct engineering assistance and on-site engagement to Pilots, Loadmasters, Maintainers, and base logistics personnel, including leadership
  • Participate in customer and program-level technical interchange meetings, engagement forums, and conferences
  • Contribute to airworthiness, safety, configuration management, and continuous improvement activities

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

Essential

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or a closely related discipline

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to engage confidently with a wide range of stakeholders, both technical and non-technical
  • A practical, solution-focused approach to problem solving
  • Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to quality, safety, and compliance

Desirable

  • Experience supporting military aircraft or in-service sustainment programs
  • Knowledge of aircraft systems, structures, maintenance practices, or airworthiness processes
  • Experience with engineering dispositions, technical investigations, or troubleshooting support
  • Familiarity with Defence aviation environments and associated regulatory frameworks
