The Boeing Company is looking for a highly talented, motivated, and creative cybersecurity professional to join our Enterprise Classified Security team as a CybersecuritySenior Information System Security Manager (ISSM) based in Arlington, VA.

The selected candidate will rely on cybersecurity and Information Assurance (IA) background to be a technical leader and support Enterprise activities and Boeing customers operating in the Classified Cloud. The ISSM is responsible for ensuring all Information System Security policies, standards, and directives are enforced to support assessment, authorization and continued operation of information systems processing classified information.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships and liaisons across a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders to include but not limited to: Defense Industrial Base (DIB) leaders and peers, U.S. Government Executives across a multitude of agencies to support cross-functional initiatives, internal Boeing stakeholders in BES, BDS, BCA, and BGS, and other leaders in non-DoD industries

  • Perform as the Primary Boeing point of contact to the DIB Sector Coordinating Council (SCC) Supply Chain Cybersecurity Task Force

  • Perform as Boeing’s primary representative to the DIB SCC Oversight Committee

  • Participate in the development of new DIB SCC initiatives based on current threats and risks to the DIB in the form of DIB SCC Working Groups

  • Lead the DIB SCC Shared Assessment Working Group (CMMC WG) providing direction and guidance as new Regulatory activity occurs, including the preparation for, and completion of, workshops and table-top exercises with relevant stakeholders inside the DIB and across the DoD

  • Develop and present material at recognized Industry events and to Senior Officials as a subject matter expert (SME) and thought leader

  • Participate and present at DIB Industry working group meetings including National Defense Information Sharing and Analysis Center (ND ISAC) working groups (Variety) and DIB Cybersecurity Program’s Cybersecurity Best Practices Working Group (CS BP) via DCISE

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Currently hold certification in good standing to satisfy IAM Level III (CISSP, GSLC, or CISM)

  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity

  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity policies and implementation of Risk Management Framework (RMF): e.g. DAAPM, CNSSI 1253, ICD-503, JSIG, or NIST SP 800 series

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience as an information system security officer (ISSO) or information system security manager (ISSM) supporting classified programs  

  • 5+ years of experience utilizing security relevant tools, systems, and applications in support of Risk Management Framework (RMF) to include NESSUS, ACAS, DISA STIGs, SCAP, Audit Reduction, and HBSS

  • 5+ years of experience assessing and documenting test or analysis data to show cyber security compliance

  • 5+ years of experience in project management

  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role leading teams, initiatives, or projects to meet business objectives and influence change

Summary Pay Range: $160,650 - $217,350

Security Clearance

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
