Boeing India Engineering has an immediate opening for an Experienced Strategy Development Specialistto join our team in Bangalore, India.

This role will be based out of Bengaluru, India.

Position Responsibilities

  • Focus on engineering capability stand-up associated strategic planning and alignment with global BUs stakeholders and global engineering leadership.

  • Develop strategies for in-house capability development, supplier partnerships, approach to export licenses, maintaining and evolving site strategies between two primary locations (Bengaluru & Chennai) and support in-country strategic requirements

  • Maintain and improve on existing processes through good use of best practices, learnings and strong communication with stakeholders

  • Manage overall forward looking workforce planning at BEI level for each engineering function by bringing demand & supply data together and identify gaps/opportunities proactively

  • Building strong working relationships with team members, management team at BEI and key stakeholders at business units

  • Participate, contribute and help stay aligned on engineering organization’s global objectives and actions

  • Defining, implementing, maintaining and improving processes, tools and metrics that govern and support the operations

  • Support senior leadership in providing business overview and updates in a timely manner

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Team player with an affinity to socialize and engage with stakeholders (across global teams & US) and build strong working relationships

  • Must be able to partner with team members to accomplish project and departmental goals and objectives

  • Candidate must be fluent in English, and have expertise in using MS Office tools

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Past experience and good understanding of aerospace industry

  • Ability to deliver on time-sensitive activities with high quality output

  • Ability to lead high-level strategic approaches, develop deliverables, and execute processes

  • Ability to work well on virtual teams across multiple time-zones

  • Must be flexible, with a high tolerance for organizational complexity and ability to work with partners from within Boeing and outside

Typical Education & Experience:

  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 8 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+ 7 years' related work experience.)

This position does offer relocation based on candidate eligibility within India.
