Boeing Defense Space & Security has an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Capability and Workforce Integration Senior Manager to join our BDS Engineering Capabilities team. This individual will partner with the BDS divisions, capability and functional/skill leadership, HR, GTA and Finance on execution of defined BDS Engineering strategy and operation rhythm.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead BDS Engineering engagement and strategy for Intern and Early Career initiatives
  • Oversee BDS Engineering Adaptive Planning implementation, maintain Adaptive Planning for BDS Engineering Capabilities Organization
  • Engage with Division and Capability leaders to thoughtfully execute a BDS Workforce strategy, directly support Product Security Engineering organization in workforce execution
  • Maintain Finance performance details for BDS Engineering Capability Organization
  • Manage BDS Engineering SMS Integration
  • Provide backup BusOps and project management support across the BDS Engineering Capability Organization

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications: (Required Skills & Experience)

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
  • Experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in leading or managing engineering initiatives
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading and implementing engineering workforce strategies and/or processes to meet organizational needs
  • Minimum 5 years of experience communicating, collaborating, and building consensus with internal and external stakeholders
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading projects that require integration across business units and/or multiple functions

Preferred Qualifications: (Desired Skills & Experience)

  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding targets goals and strong skills in program/project execution to schedule and budget
  • Proactively and quickly makes sense of complex issues; responds effectively to complex and ambiguous situations; communicates complicated information simply
  • Experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior executives, customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners
  • 5+ year of experience with early career engineering recruitment and sourcing strategies and tools leveraged and executed by Enterprise Engineering and Global University Relations Engineering (GURE)
  • Experience with staffing forecast tools used in large scale organizations such as Adaptive Planning

Level ML: Berkeley, MO- $146,200-$197,800
