Boeing Defense and Space (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Information Technology Engineer to join us as part of the Digital Engineering Ecosystem and Infrastructure Team located in St. Louis, MO.

We seek a passionate and talented Information Technology Engineer that will work with the DevSecOps, Engineering Capabilities, Product Security Engineering, Cyber and Information Technology teams to support deployment of software applications and tools in a digital ecosystem environment.  The engineer in this position will focus on bridging the gap modernizing toolchains and systems requirements between 3rd party applications for cloud and on-prem infrastructures in support of proprietary programs.  This position will focus on vendor integration, licensing compliance and validation & integration of applications in closed areas programs.

We are the Phantom Works Digital Engineering team creating and implementing innovative technologies that makes the impossible possible and enabling the future of aerospace.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Defines and validates requirements for new and revised hardware and software systems. Designs, develops and tests applications.

  • Performs trade studies and other forms of analysis to formulate optimum solutions for users.

  • Develops and deploys new or revised processes in support of new computing systems, including documentation and training.

  • Supports the development of system integration strategies and architectures that promote use of common tools and processes.

  • Facilitates integration of new technologies and the transition from legacy systems to support business requirements.

  • Deployment & Integration: Orchestrate the installation and configuration of complex COTS packages (e.g. Engineering tools, Product Lifecycle Management, Manufacturing Operations Management, and Enterprise Resource Planning application) on a cloud platform to support business and systems requirements for proprietary & advanced development programs

  • Maintain these COTS tools throughout the software lifecycle and document changes in the configuration management database.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Berkeley, MO.

Travel may be required up to 10% of the time; Domestically and/or internationally depending on business needs.

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

  • 5+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

  • An Active (SAP) Special Program Access Clearance

  • Master of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry

Summary pay range: $103,700 - $140,300
