The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) organization is seeking an Experienced Quality Specialist – Electrical Test Inspector to join our team in Berkeley, MO and St. Charles, MO. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of electrical fabrication builds through comprehensive inspections.

Note: This candidate will only need to travel to St. Charles, MO 10% of the time.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise and consultation on work orders prior to job acceptance

  • Develop Quality budget and cost estimates

  • Lead multi-function, multi-site groups to develop company directives, policies, processes, procedures and metrics to assure program, contract, customer, regulatory requirements, international standards and working agreements are deployed

  • Provide support in analysis of process data, metrics, models and flows to identify root causes of complex problems and development and implementation of preventive or corrective actions

  • Review, understand and interpret policies, processes, procedures process specifications, drawings, requirements, international standards, etc.

  • Conduct research, compile and analyze performance reports and process control statistics to continuously improve process capability

  • Ensure work orders are documented properly

  • Provide expertise, guidance, techniques, and fabrication practices to fabrication technicians

  • Analyze data to provide material review dispositions for complex nonconforming materials, parts and equipment

  • Assist in the development of new standard repairs for nonconforming materials, parts and equipment

  • Manufacturing Execution System familiarity for processing work orders and nonconformances

  • Work under minimal direction

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in electrical (wire shop) fabrication and required processes

  • 5+ years of experience with quality systems (e.g., Boeing Quality Management System (BQMS), International Organization for Standardization (ISO9001), Aerospace Standard (AS9100))

  • 3+ years of experience documenting corrective actions and non-conformance

  • Experience inspecting, fabricating, installing, routing, terminating, soldering, and repairing electrical wiring harnesses; or any variety of electrical components, and associated equipment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • An active U.S. Security Clearance in the past 24 months

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary Pay Range: $80,750 - 109,250

Security Clearance

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
