The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking Experienced Manufacturing Engineers to support the F-15 program located in the St. Louis Missouri area.

Position Overview: 

Boeing Defense, Space & Security is seeking an Associate/Experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in St. Louis, Missouri area. In this role, you will support airplane subsystems, production readiness, and delivery center flyaway operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturability, strengthen production processes, and support the successful delivery of advanced aerospace products. 

This position is ideal for an engineer who thrives on solving technical challenges, improving efficiency, and collaborating across disciplines to bring high-quality products to life. 

What You’ll Do

  • Support the development and refinement of manufacturing processes for airplane subsystems and related production activities. 

  • Identify production risks, recommend solutions, and help drive readiness across manufacturing operations. 

  • Work with engineering, quality, operations, and supply chain partners to solve issues and improve execution. 

  • Support delivery center and flyaway activities by improving flow, reducing inefficiencies, and strengthening product quality. 

  • Use data, engineering principles, and practical problem-solving to identify improvement opportunities. 

  • Take part in design and production reviews, offering input on assembly, tooling, manufacturability, and producibility. 

  • Lead or support root cause analysis and corrective action efforts for manufacturing challenges. 

  • Help create a safe, efficient, and reliable production environment. 

  • Contribute to improvements that support cost, schedule, quality, and delivery goals.

We’re seeking a Manufacturing Engineer who:

  • Enjoys turning technical challenges into practical solutions. 

  • Brings experience in manufacturing, production support, or related engineering work.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

  • 2+ years work-related experience with a Bachelors degree OR an equivalent combination of work-related experience and technical education.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

  • (Level 3) 5+ years work-related experience with a Bachelors degree OR an equivalent combination of work-related experience and technical education.

  • B.S. or higher in Aerospace, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering

  • Experience supporting defense and/or aerospace customers

  • Experience with aerospace production

  • Experience with 2D blueprints and 3D model based instruction

  • Experience with Manufacturing Execution System Common Image (MESci)

  • Strong communication skills

  • Experience in project management and planning within a manufacturing environment

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary pay range:

Level 2: $85,000 - $115,000

Level 3: $103,700 - $140,300
