Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) is seeking a Flight Operations Generalist to join out team in Berkeley, MO.

This position requires experience in civil aircraft maintenance operations, coordination, and logistics. The successful candidate must have experience with large business jet aircraft, experimental modifications, and FAA regulations pertaining to aircraft operations.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate, Experienced and Senior Level Flight Operations Generalists.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with outside vendors for aircraft maintenance support activities

  • Coordinate with engineering companies for support of aircraft maintenance, repairs, and/or modifications

  • Coordinate with outside vendors to ensure all aircraft parts are serviced or repaired in accordance with applicable FAA regulations

  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of aircraft schedules and utilization rates

  • Maintain the airworthy status of all aircraft components requested and used on the Test Bed Operations fleet

  • Initiate and document any nonconforming materials, hardware, software, tools, parts, assemblies, or portions thereof, according to specifications, processes, and procedures

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • This position requires the ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship

  • At least 3 years of equivalent technical experience working within a FAA Part 145 Repair Station

  • 3+ years of experience with Part 147/145 aircraft maintenance operations

  • Experience with Shipping & Receiving, along with material storage, record keeping and shop floor knowledge of material handling

  • Willingness to work variable shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suits

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Level 4: 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Prefer a minimum of 5 years of experience as a FAA Part 145 Repair Station Lead or Supervisor where maintenance on complex turboprop and turbojet powered corporate, airline and/or ex-military aircraft was performed

  • Prefer a minimum of 5 years of experience creating and tracking aircraft parts and service invoices

  • Experience at identifying FAA Suspected Unapproved Parts (SUPs) and reporting using FAA Form 8120-11

  • Knowledge of the continued airworthiness of Experimental aircraft in accordance with the Federal Aviation Regulations

  • Experience with aircraft maintenance planning

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary Pay Range for Mid-level (Level 3): $85,000 – $115,000

Summary Pay Range for Senior level (Level 4): $102,850 – $139,150
