The Boeing Company is seeking a Lead Product Security Engineer to help lead Technology Release efforts for the most advanced Boeing defense platforms. This position is based in Berkeley, MO where you will work directly with Boeing program leadership, the government offices of US export policy, and release authority customers to shape government policy and approvals to define Boeing product capabilities and usage. 

This is your chance to join the Boeing Anti-Tamper Engineering Capability Center, which is tasked with the protection of all critical computers across all defense products developed within Boeing to enable US and export sales.

Position Responsibilities:

As a member of the team, you will help lead the BDS Technology Release team within the AT ECC. You’ll have the opportunity to work across the programs and platforms of the entire BDS portfolio to understand the advanced technology capabilities and the ability of our teams to protect them and will engage with the government Tri-Service Committee and other approval authorities to define and obtain approval for their requirements. 

Additional Responsibilities:

  • The candidate will also aid the programs in requirements understanding, implementation solutions, and verification for release and export. 
  • Travel to support customer coordination is expected. 
  • Advance the design, development and maintenance of hardware and software-based product security solutions for the protection of critical military information and technology and include:
    • Supporting the verification of requirements, design, and implementation of security solutions and computing devices across multiple subsystem teams and technologies.
    • Accountable to program leads and management in day-to-day task activities, accomplishments, issues, and concerns.
    • Apply your collaboration skills by working effectively with external customers and subcontractors in a multi-site and multi-discipline program and environment.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

  • Secret
  • Must be eligible and willing to obtain additional security clearances

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): only one who can remove a degree is functional chief engineer

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 14+ years of engineering experience
  • Experience in design and/or integration of systems or subsystems in the Defense industry - understanding tactical systems capabilities and operations is crucial to being able to protect them
  • Experience in government acquisition of military systems and/or government policy decisions

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Top Secret Security Clearance
  • Experience in the anti-tamper or product security domain
  • Ability to demonstrate prior technical leadership
  • Level 5: 14+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Summary pay range:

Level 5: $164,050 - $221,950
