The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid-LevelSite Security Specialist to join the team in Berkeley, MO

Boeing is looking for an experienced and motivated Mid-Level Site Security Specialist to support the mission to protect company people, property, and information. You will utilize standard processes, tools, and templates required to enable a compliant and robust program. The primary focus of the program is to enable effective preparation for and efficient response to emergencies and disasters in order to save lives and reduce property loss.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes standardized policies and procedures at the site

  • Ensures there is an effective employee emergency communication plan

  • Provides data to measure site program effectiveness

  • Responds to emergency calls for assistance to mitigate hazardous situations by operating specialized tools, equipment and apparatus

  • Acts as Incident Commander and determines and implements the appropriate course of action using incident response protocols and guidelines

  • Communicates with site security managers, Ethics, Law Department on the results of an investigation

  • Provides trend analysis data when requested

  • Develops subject matter expertise on all tools, technologies, and processes

  • Assists with the development and deployment of site level tactical and strategic plans

  • Participates in activations of the site Incident Management Team and Area Coordination Team activations for large-scale incidents

  • Completes and/or participates in program assessments and program reviews

  • Interacts with external agencies on matters relating to emergency management

  • Fosters a culture of preparedness, by empowering employees to be prepared both at home and at work

  • Works nights, weekends, and holidays as needed to manage ongoing emergencies or training

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience with site Security & Fire Operational

  • 1+ years of experience building relationships and partnering with all levels of employees, including executives

  • 1+ years of experience with the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Project

  • Experience in law enforcement, security operations, and/or physical security

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience

  • 3+ years of experience with contract management

  • Experience with Security & Fire Protection Operations policies and procedures

  • Experience presenting to multiple audiences, including executive leadership

  • Experience with written and verbal communication expertise for interaction in a dynamic executive environment

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $88,400 – $119,600
