The Boeing Learning & Development Production System Training (PST) organization is seeking a Senior Flight Line Learning Program Development Specialist to join our team in Berkeley, MO or Mesa, AZ.

This role is a multifaceted role so the ideal candidate would have extensive knowledge and experience in Manufacturing, Quality, Flightline, and Safety domain. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive learning programs focused on flightline processes. This role requires a deep understanding of the flightline processes and procedures, manufacturing processes, strong project management skills, and the ability to design and develop effective training programs in compliance with customer requirements.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement learning curriculum for electrical, mechanical, and avionics flightline systems, aligned to the appropriate processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify training needs and create learning objectives
  • Design and develop engaging and interactive training materials, including presentations, e-learning modules, videos, and job aids
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback, and make necessary improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, production operations, and engineering, to ensure alignment and integration of the learning program with other organizational initiatives
  • Be cognizant of budget, including vendor selection, to optimize resources and achieve cost-efficiency
  • Boeing learning content is aligned to the needs of the business and is compliant (Ground Operating Procedures (GOP), DOD, FAA, OSHA, etc.)
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in flightline, mechanical, electrical and avionics.
  • Travel to other Boeing locations to support local training

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years aviation or military experience of flightline processes and documentation (blueprints, technical orders/publications/ Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals, GOPs, process specifications)
  • 5+ years adherence to Department of Defense and Governing Operating Procedures (GOP) requirements
  • Experience managing projects, prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience communicating and presenting, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences
  • Experience collecting and analyzing data to measure program effectiveness and make data-driven decisions
  • Experience instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Experience with instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of learning management system course and curricula architecture, curricula management, curation, and course maintenance
  • Proven experience in designing and developing training programs in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on seal domain
  • Project and/or Program leadership experience
  • Experience with e-learning platforms and multimedia tools
  • Experience in creating and delivering Stakeholder and Executive briefings
  • Expert knowledge and experience with Quality Management System and Material Review process

Summary pay range senior (Level 4): $90,100 - $121,900

Summary pay range senior (Level 5): $110,500 - $149,500
