Boeing’s Defense Space and Security (BDS) Human Resources (HR) organization is currently seeking a SeniorHuman Resources Business Partner to join our team supporting BDS Program Management-Business Transformation. This role can be based at any of the following sites: Berkeley, MO; El Segundo, CA; Seal Beach, CA; Long Beach, CA; Huntington, CA;Mesa, AZ; Everett, WA; Huntsville, AL; Oklahoma City, OK; San Antonio, TX or Ridley Park, PA.

The Business Transformation organization sits as part of BDS Program Management and focuses on BDS Data Management and Digital Strategy including the strategic application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to increase the efficiency of current and future production efforts. This role will play a critical role in leading the deployment and administration of HR programs, policies, practices, and processes that align with our business objectives. This position requires a proactive partner who can effectively collaborate across the organization and with all levels to understand the business needs and deliver customized HR solutions that contribute to overall organizational success.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with business leaders by providing support and guidance to enhance team performance and organizational culture

  • Address HR-related issues and consult with management to develop effective strategies

  • Assist in talent management activities, including supporting succession planning and staffing efforts to enhance workforce diversity

  • Help implement HR strategies and practices, ensuring effective communication and engagement with employees

  • Support the analysis of HR metrics to identify trends and provide recommendations for improvement

  • Assist in the development and delivery of training programs that enhance employee skills and promote a positive workplace culture

The successful candidate will also have several key attributes:

  • Strength in influencing, taking complex business challenges and creating and executing streamlined solutions

  • Knowledge of multiple HR disciplines such as development, compensation, employee relations, HRIS, organization development

  • Proactive and proven ability to lead initiatives

  • Comfort in and preference for working in a dynamic, fast-paced, global functional environment

  • Adaptable and independent critical thinker with a high level of initiative

  • Strong communicator with experience of working in a multi-cultural environment

  • Collaborate effectively across a global team

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years in supporting employees as a Human Resources Generalist (HRG) or Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

  • 3+ years of experience interfacing with and presenting to senior and/or executive leadership

  • 5+ years of experience partnering and strategizing HR initiatives with senior leaders

  • 5+ years of experience in a role utilizing business acumen and linking relevant HR strategies to business outcomes

  • 5+ years of experience creating and developing HR strategy plans and/or executing strategies and managing projects

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

  • Human Resources certification(s)

  • 5+ years of experience in influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders across functions

  • 5+ years of experience partnering with leadership to design and implement workforce strategies to meet organization objectives

  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in crafting executive-level presentations with PowerPoint and utilizing Excel for advanced data analysis, reporting, and effective communication of insights

  • Experience with project management

Pay & Benefits:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $110,500 - $172,500
