The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Learning and Development (L&D) Specialist – Delivery and Facilitation to join our team in Berkeley, MO; Hazelwood, MO; North Charleston, SC; Auburn, WA; Renton, WA; Seattle, WA or Everett, WA.

The Boeing Company has an extraordinary opportunity on the Factory & Program Leadership Development team for a highly experienced facilitator to deliver engaging and interactive training sessions to aspiring and new leaders.  A successful candidate will have the unique opportunity to enhance the learners' leadership skills and knowledge, utilizing various learner engagement techniques.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Use effective training strategies such as brainstorming, role-plays, simulations, and case studies to enhance learning.
  • Manage challenging training situations, including disruptive behaviors and complex/sensitive aerospace industry topics, with appropriate levels of intervention.
  • Build credibility and accountability by leveraging in-depth knowledge of Boeing's culture and values, using real-life examples to reinforce training.
  • Embody Boeing Values in a meaningful, observable, and measurable way.
  • Facilitate change management initiatives to help learners adapt to new processes and organizational changes.
  • Execute the Player-Coach faculty model, including train-the-trainer sessions, feedback sessions, and monitor classroom performance, in accordance with Boeing's Faculty Excellence Model.
  • Support design and development of training curriculum and materials.
  • Achieve measurable outcomes and deliver results through impactful practices and inclusive excellence.
  • Assess the impact and effectiveness of leadership training programs using learner feedback, performance evaluations, and post-training assessments.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align training programs with organizational goals and strategic objectives.
  • Demonstrate commitment to continuous development of training and facilitation skills.
  • Travel up to 25% of the time to domestic Boeing locations

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in adult learning delivery
  • 5+ years of experience conducting leadership training for managerial level employees
  • 5+ years of experience in the corporate learning industry

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Certifications in Assessments (Inside Out Coaching, the Hogan Assessment, DiSC and others)
  • Certified Coaching credentials
  • Experience in a role that required you to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and present technical information in a clear and concise manner
  • Experience in conducting assessment and coaching debrief sessions
  • Experience coaching and mentoring

Pay and Benefits:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range Senior (Level 4): $90,100 - $142,500

Summary pay range Senior (Level 5): $110,500 - $173,750
