Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a T-7Sustainment Program Management Specialist to join our team in Berkeley, MO.

The T-7 Program Management Specialist will assist with sustainment and execution efforts, lead / oversee all aspects supporting new business campaigns, and develop/implement/integrate support strategies across the T-7 platform in the BGS organization. They will integrate between the current T-7 sustainment efforts and program execution teams to influence new business campaign execution plans and to inform / guide stakeholders on existing contracts. They will acquire resources for organizational activities, provide technical management of suppliers, lead process improvements and provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. They will develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate cross-functional communication between external customers, external suppliers / partners, internal Boeing T-7 program personnel, internal Boeing platform organizations, engineering capability centers, remote site support personnel, supply chain organizations, and sustainment IPTs, as well as provide regular status updates and change information to customers and project teams
  • Provide business and integration leadership for the development and execution of project and team plans and implement Boeing program management best practices in respective activities
  • On new business campaigns, lead cross-functional teams through the Enterprise Standard Gate Process (ESGP) to drive proposal compliance while achieving market affordability targets
  • Facilitate issue resolution and negotiate with stakeholders to determine best value solutions
  • Track and maintain project budget and schedule and identifies relevant risks and opportunities
  • Develops/influences program policies and procedures, establishes operating rhythm, and simultaneously guides Boeing’s strategic position in current and future training aircraft sustainment objectives
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers and business partners

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years’ experience in a role requiring project / program management skills
  • Experience working with Program Management Best Practices (PMBP)
  • Experience with schedule and budget management, integration of all logistics elements, customer communication, as well as understanding of execution of program planning to ensure cost, schedule and technical baseline requirements are met
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Experience in finance, scheduling, industrial engineering, change management, strategy, business support services, program management, project management or business operations role
  • Ability to manage multiple and competing requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Master’s Degree
  • Experience working in the Boeing Enterprise Standard Gate Process (ESGP) or industry equivalent
  • Earned Value Management (EVM), Cost Accounting Management (CAM)
  • Experience partnering with a United States Government (USG) Department of Defense (DoD) or international armed forces customer to deliver services and products
  • Possess a systems thinking methodology and a strategic mindset
  • Experience with critical business and financial acumen including risk, issue, and opportunity management to drive performance

Summary pay range: $157,250 -$212,750
