Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) Air Dominance has an exciting opportunity for a Support Coordinator to support Materials Management in Berkeley, MO!

Support Coordinator encompasses all the duties of the following job classifications: Production Material Coordinator, Crater & Packer, and Material Handler- Specialist.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Must have the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
  • Must give strong attention to detail and be able to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Must be computer savvy. Data entry
  • Unload carrier trucks
  • Perform systematic receiving and grief resolution
  • Warehousing
  • Inventory management and cycle counting
  • Move, store, kit and deliver material, kits, equipment, tools, supplies, etc.
  • Support kitting requirements
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Must have a sense of urgency
  • Must be able to evaluate and prioritize competing requests
  • Expedite, remove roadblocks, coordinate and follow up with business partners
  • Operate forklift, pallet jacks, and various hand tools
  • Construct, repair and assemble a variety of shipping containers
  • Properly tie down, block and brace containers in transportation vehicles

The following Physical Demands may be requirements of this job:
Limited (0-1 hours) Crawling, Lying Down (back, front, side), Forceful grasping, Occasional (1-3 hours) Requires frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and supporting up to 35lbs, bending at the waist, kneeling, crouching, squatting, reaching. The position may have frequent (3-6 hours) exposure to noise. This position requires eye, hearing and other personal protective equipment. Occasional (1-3 hours) climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, squatting and working on ladders. Working on elevated and/or uneven surfaces. Exposure to noise. The ability to operate a forklift, tug, scooter or other vehicles as necessary.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience in inventory, stock, or supply chain
  • Highschool Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Forklift Operator Experience
  • Experience using computers, including typing and utilization of Microsoft suite (e.g. Excel, Word)

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. 

Union:

  • This is a union-represented position
  • This is an hourly position governed by the International Association of Machinist (IAM 837) Collective Bargaining Agreement
  • The selected candidate must be able to work any shift, as assigned.
  • New Hires, as well as employees who transfer from non-union positions, may be required to attend some type of training upon their start. Once any required training has been completed all new employees will be considered on probation for a period of one hundred twenty (120) calendar days. Continued employment is contingent upon successful completion of the probationary period.

Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required

Shift:

  • The candidate must be able to work any shift assigned

Relocation:

  • Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense

Summary pay range: $21.00/hourly - $49.78/hourly
