The Boeing Company is looking for Test and Evaluation Lab Technicians to join our team in Berkeley, MO. As part of the Boeing Test & Evaluation division, our lab fabricates, repairs and modifies electrical cables, electronics chassis (think ‘black box’), panels, hubs and full-up equipment/test racks for all the Boeing Defense Systems platforms out of St. Louis.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate and Experienced Test and Evaluation Lab Technicians

Position Responsibilities:

  • Supports activities to plan, conduct and document tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes and technologies

  • Preforms fabrication and assembly of components, test fixtures and test systems

  • Supports the coordination of test requirements and assists in reviewing test methods and capabilities

  • Facilitates systems integration, fabrication and modification; supports system pre-test setup, integration, checkout, and post test tear-down

  • Conducts routine tests, analyzes data and documents results

  • Troubleshoots and recommends resolution of basic laboratory and test-related problems

  • Works under general supervision

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience working with wiring diagrams and/or functional schematics

  • 1+ years of experience constructing wire harnesses and panels by cutting, sorting, color-coding, measuring, stripping, crimping, soldering, and routing various lengths, types, and gauges of wire, heat-shrink, and other related materials

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Level 3: 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Proven ability to assemble, rework, and troubleshoot small mechanical and electrical assemblies including the use of oscilloscope, multimeters, analog and digital designs

  • Effective verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and under general direction

  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, iterative R&D environment where requirements and priorities may shift rapidly

  • Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

  • Ability to use multi meters for electrical test

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business

Summary Pay Range for Associate level (Level 2): $53,550 – $72,450

Summary Pay Range for Experienced level (Level 3):  $63,750 – $86,250
