The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join Boeing Defence Australia as a Configuration Management (CM) Specialist, supporting the cutting-edge MQ-28 Ghost Bat program. We are looking for someone who will embrace our company's Values and Behaviours to support program execution in this dynamic and team-oriented role.

  • Apply Configuration Management principles to plan, establish and maintain an effective CM program using a modern digital PLM tool (3DEXPERIENCE).
  • Opportunity to influence, implement and drive Configuration Management execution with the customer and key stakeholders.
  • This role is based in the Brisbane CBD, with flexible working options.

Responsibilities

As a Configuration Management Specialist, you will apply your knowledge and experience to provide the following services for the MQ-28 Ghost Bat:

  • Assist with updating Configuration Management plans, processes and procedures, in accordance with standards, regulations, business and contractual requirements.
  • Perform lifecycle management of engineering changes including participation in the Configuration Control Boards
  • Prepare and participate in product technical design reviews and audits as required.
  • Prepare and deliver configuration reports to support the MQ-28 program
  • Assist with the alignment of the program's Engineering and Configuration Management processes with Boeing processes and practices.
  • Maintain the controls necessary for data to meet security, trade control and intellectual property requirements
  • Effectively interface with project team members and our customers to support the operation of the platform.

Experience/Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in Configuration Management.
  • Formal Configuration Management training / certification.
  • Knowledge and understanding of industry configuration management standards.
  • Strong communication skills, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities with attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of 3DEXPERIENCE Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool.
