We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Oracle EBS Functional Specialist to join our team in Brisbane or Toowoomba in a hybrid capacity. The ideal candidate will serve as the bridge between our business requirements and our technical systems, specifically focusing on the Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 modules.

You will be responsible for optimizing our end-to-end supply chain processes, ensuring seamless integration between Procurement, Supplier Management, and Warehousing (Inventory/WMS). Your expertise will drive operational efficiency, data integrity, and streamlined workflows across our global supply chain.

About the Role:

  • Module Ownership: Act as the functional subject matter expert (SME) for Oracle EBS R12 modules: Purchasing (PO), iProcurement, Inventory Management (INV), Work in Progress and Bill of Materials
  • Warehouse & Inventory Control: Support warehousing operations by optimizing inventory movements, sub-inventory setups, cycle counting, material management and material transactions within EBS.
  • Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with Procurement and Warehouse managers to document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for technical teams.
  • Testing & Implementation: Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), create test scripts, and support system upgrades, patches, or new module implementations.
  • Troubleshooting & Support: Provide Tier 2/3 functional support to resolve complex issues related to procurement, warehouse management, Material Resource Planning, Work in Progress, Bill of Materials
  • Training: Develop documentation and support end-users to ensure high adoption and correct system usage.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) 

  • Oracle Expertise: Proven functional experience with Oracle EBS R12. Knowledge of the integration points between PO, Supplier modules, and Inventory is essential.
  • Procurement: Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Blanket Purchase Agreements, and Approval Hierarchies domain knowledge
  • Supplier Management: Supplier registration, Site creation and process of supplier creation through to Purchase Order issuing domain knowledge.
  • Warehousing/SCM: Inventory management, shipping/receiving, material planning, cycle counting and warehouse movements domain knowledge.
  • Australian citizen with the ability and willingness to apply for a AGSVA clearance

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) 

  • Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical business users.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to perform root-cause analysis on data discrepancies (e.g., "Receipts not matching Purchase Order received amounts").
  • Experience with Oracle WMS (Warehouse Management System) and Procurement modules.
  • Familiarization with SQL/PLSQL for data querying and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in a Manufacturing and Maintenance  environment.
  • Previous experience participating in an Oracle implementation, upgrade or significant enhancement project.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
