  • Implement internal controls for trade control compliance, direct trade control activity, and provide guidance to Boeing MQ-28 Program regarding incorporating trade control requirements into program processes and procedures;
  • Prepare and submit Defence Export Control (DEC) permit applications and manage regulatory authority interactions;
  • Maintain accurate trade control authorisation records and training material;
  • Advise MQ-28 program on export classifications, transfer controls, technical data handling, and compliance strategies and mitigations;
  • Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders (security, supply chain, engineering, program management);
  • Participate in internal governance, training delivery, and continuous-improvement initiatives to strengthen Trade Controls processes;
  • Act as a liaison between Boeing and customers and suppliers for trade control-related matters;
  • Analyse applicability of trade control requirements relating to both DCS and FMS procurement methods;
  • Assist with planning of export licensing requirements for contracted activities and potential future activities.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

  • Practical experience with export controls, sanctions, or related regulatory frameworks;
  • Experience with Australian Defence Trade Controls, US International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and US Export Administration Regulations (EAR);
  • Experience drafting Defence Export Control (DEC) permit applications and managing regulatory authority interactions;
  • Effective communication skills and experience engaging cross-functional stakeholders;
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and demonstrated ability to provide clear, practical advice;
  • Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements
