Your skills and qualifications:

  • A background in a safety-critical and regulated environment (e.g., aerospace, defence, rail, automotive).
  • Familiarity of common safety standards (e.g., Def Stan 00-056, MIL-STD-882E) and the application of safety analysis methods such as Functional Hazard Assessment (FHA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) and Bowtie analysis.
  • The ability to plan and execute tasks to achieve timescales and costs.
  • Good interpersonal skills to ensure effective team working and an appropriate working relationship with external customers.
  • Proficiency in the use of general office IT tools, such as MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
  • Strong technical communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or significant professional experience.
  • UK National status is required, and candidates must be eligible for SC clearance.

The position offers flexible working options and may require occasional UK or international travel.
