Reporting to the Senior HR Services Manager, the Senior HR Services Specialist will be a key member of the HR Services team responsible for leading, developing, integrating and maintaining enterprise-wide HR processes that support the employee lifecycle from pre-hire to retire.

The ideal candidate must enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment. You will have people experience along with international experience working with diverse groups and cultures and be flexible to accommodate business requirements that span multiple time zones. The ability to think strategically and translate that thinking to operations is essential. You will have strong communications and project management skills.

Role Summary:

HR Services Specialists serve as the initial point of contact for our employees, interacting with them daily assisting with a multitude of general HR needs and helping with a standard set of HR service offerings. This position also supports the broader HR community and leaders with transactional and administrative activities.

You will manage HR Services initiatives and solutions, partner with business leaders to align HR service delivery to organizational priorities and use data and metrics to identify and implement process improvements. The role requires expertise of local labor law, HR best practice and regional compliance regulations, this role will support regional and global projects (including scoping, budgeting and delivery) and manage supplier performance.

Key Responsibilities:

To deliver HR Services and first level HR support to employees, managers, and the HR community. Act as subject-matter expert on HR policies & processes for the UK & Republic of Ireland. Analyze metrics to monitor supplier performance, identify trends and drive continuous improvement in HR service delivery. Review, implement and maintain HR processes across the employee lifecycle; collaborate with HR cross functional teams to ensure consistent and effective execution. Support the development and implementation of new or revised HR programs, policies and processes. Lead and support regional and global projects: prepare statements of work, define deliverables, resources, budgets and schedules; develop contingency plans; monitor project progress and report status to stakeholders. Provide consultation and guidance to HR colleagues, managers and employees on complex HR Services matters and policy interpretation. Manage external supplier relationships, ensuring delivery against SLAs and drive service improvements. Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned. Business Travel to UK and International sites required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Minimum of five years progressive HR experience in the UK
  • In depth knowledge of UK labor law and local country regulations
  • Proven project management skills, including scoping, planning, monitoring and reporting
  • Ability to solve complex problems
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Teams, Planner, Excel, PowerPoint & Project Management tools
  • Team-oriented, adaptable and solution-focused  
  • Do the right thing, Give a damn and show up with kindness, collaboration and respect​

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or recognized qualification or relative year’s experience in Human Resources

  • Experience using Workday or other HRIS is an advantage

  • Strong analytical skills and proficient in HR data analytics and metrics
