  • Maintain workplace safety: enforce PPE, perform FOD walks, monitor human factors (fatigue/workload), and promptly report hazards and incidents.

  • Allocate a Group Coordinator (GC) as required for each maintenance input and liaise throughout the shift to ensure the aircraft is safe for maintenance tasks to be completed by the team.

  • Attend or nominate a suitably qualified deputy for Tier 1 & Tier 2 briefs (i.a.w. 7.09.01.013) and support the AM in handover/takeover of aircraft transferring between AMO and Military Maintenance Organisations.

  • Track shift workforce availability / absences and communicate them to the MM/OM; update the Workforce Planner.

  • Ensure tool control and calibration status of test equipment used on shift and support AMO audits and inspections.
