Boeing Global Services (BGS),Distribution Business, is looking for a Lead Product Acceptance Specialist to join our team in Coppell, TX.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee incoming/outbound quality inspection and acceptance of aerospace chemicals (adhesives, sealants, coatings, solvents) to ensure compliance with customer and OEM requirements, including specifications.

  • Review and validate Certificates of Conformance (CoC), Certificates of Analysis (COA), Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and supporting documentation for accuracy, completeness, and traceability.

  • Ensure compliance with hazardous material regulations and standards, including Dangerous Goods requirements.

  • Enforce Quality Management System (QMS) standards in accordance with AS9100, AS9120 and ISO 9001.

  • Support internal, external, and customer audits by maintaining complete and accurate quality records.

  • Drive root cause corrective action (RCCA) activities, including investigation, containment, and implementation of preventive measures for non-conformances. Reduce scrap, minimize rework, reduce costs and improve quality to meet all requirements.

  • Operate powered industrial equipment including stand-up forklift and order picker (cherry picker) to support warehouse operations.

  • Supervise, train, and mentor product acceptance specialists and inspectors; ensure adherence to procedures and performance expectations

  • Manage chemical shelf-life controls, including expiration tracking, environmental storage requirements, and disposition of expired materials.

  • Coordinate with suppliers to resolve quality issues as needed.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and product traceability within ERP/WMS systems (e.g., Manhattan Associates WMS, SAP).

  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, EHS, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure timely and compliant product release.

  • Identify and mitigate risks related to chemical handling, storage, and transportation; enforce safety protocols and PPE requirements.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years’ experience in quality inspection, product acceptance, or warehouse/distribution operations (aerospace or chemical environment preferred).

  • 1 years or more of experience Working knowledge of hazardous materials handling and regulatory compliance (e.g., OSHA, IATA). Ability to read and interpret technical documents, specifications, and safety data sheets (SDS).

  • 1+ years of leadership or team lead experience.

  • 1+ years of experience operating Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) equipment, including forklift (stand-up & reach truck) and/or order picker (cherry picker).

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, and communication with other functional areas.

  • Experience using Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, Power Point, Excel, and Word.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required.  “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in performing quality inspection.

  • Experience in aerospace distribution, chemical handling, or regulated warehouse environments.

  • Knowledge of shelf-life management and environmental storage controls for chemicals.

  • Current or previous PIT certification (forklift, reach truck, order picker).

  • Experience using SAP for property and warehouse management.

  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $63,000.00 - $89,000.00
