The Boeing Global Services (BGS) team is seeking an Associate or Experienced Contracts Procurement Agent (Level 2 or Level 3) to support our site in Dallas, TX.

The Procurement Agent (Supplier Contracts) will support procurement activities for aftermarket spares contracting. This position acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for researching, sourcing, evaluating and managing contracts to purchase supplies and equipment based on price, service, quality and warranty to meet customer needs.

  • The candidate must possess strong business acumen, communication and problem solving skills.

  • Proactive engagement with various disciplines and program stakeholders is required.

  • Supports the sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements.

  • Maintain accuracy of spares pricing and lead-time for contracted parts in ERP/SAP system

  • Collaboration with other internal teams to gain process efficiencies and meet the needs of our internal and external customer’s requirements.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ total years of related experience

  • 2+ years of related work experience in Procurement within SAP.

  • 2+ years of experience in Supplier Management/Procurement as a Procurement Agent

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

  • Experience drafting, negotiating and executing contracts/agreement, reading Terms and Conditions

  • Experience with strategic sourcing and managing supplier performance

  • Collaboration with other internal teams to meet the needs of our internal and external customers’ requirements thru effective communication.

Export Control Requirements:

This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree – Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field of study

  • 4+ total years of related experience

  • 3+ years of related work experience in Procurement within SAP

  • 3+ years of experience in Supplier Management/Procurement as a Procurement Agent

  • 3+ years experience in proposing, negotiating, and executing contracts and/or subcontracts under BSCA/SBP language

  • Experience with Sheet Metal and machine commodity

  • Experience in procuring aftermarket spares components

  • Experience working in a distribution business environment

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple competing priorities

  • Project management experience

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range for Associate level: $62,000 - $88,000

Summary pay range for Experienced level: $78,000 - $111,000
