Boeing Global Services(BGS) is searching for a Supply Chain Specialist (SCS) (Level 2) to support our CMM programs - BCF and MODS, as well as Flight Simulators.  The SCS would be responsible to execute purchase orders to Internal Fabrication business partners. Data Analysis and reporting will be required on a daily basis. The SCS is expected to effectively manage supply/demand, schedules, delivery, analyze supply chain data, and coordinate/communicate across the supply chain with various disciplines and functions. Additionally, this role will support execution of supply chain solutions and contribute to process improvements, performance dashboards, and adherence to schedules. Ideal candidates demonstrate competency in a supply chain environment with the ability to resolve issues and discrepancies at our Dallas, TX facility.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads and administers post production requests for quotes containing long lead times, high value and/or lengthy bills of material. 

  • Enters, tracks, monitors and coordinates customer material and delivery requirements.  Anticipate important or critical events, identifying resource requirements and assigning responsibility for specific work, including deadlines and performance expectations.

  • Ability to understand the big picture and the inter-relationships of all positions and activities in the system, apply the principles of systems thinking to accelerate performance.

  • General understanding of maintenance, modifications, retrofit processes and procedures.

  • Drives decisions that support internal/external programs, customers and product/order commit dates.

  • Optimizes execution of the supply chain, balancing inventory, supply orders and scheduled demands.

  • Provide Modification Program timely communication, leadership and continuous process improvement.

  • Adaptable, able to work in a constant change and fast paced environment.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • More than 2 years of experience in supply chain management or supplier management

  • More than 2 years of experience working in a multi-functional team environment

  • Experience in data analysis

  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office tool suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • More than 3 years of experience in supply chain management or supplier management

  • More than 3 years of experience working in a multi-functional team environment

  • Experience working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment is highly desired

  • Experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes

  • Communication skills, collaboration, and customer focus are critical to be successful in the role

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: 56,000 – 80,000
