Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist/Asset Manager (Experienced) to join our team in Dallas, TX.

The Supply Chain Specialist (Level 3) will be involved in a multitude of supply chain related activities to include: customer demand review, forecasting assessment, ordering of materials, managing material budget, reporting on supply activity, strategy development for support of prime contract requirements, enhancing processes and procedures, and working across a multi-functional services team.  They will also interface directly with the Air Force customer, work autonomously within the Boeing enterprise, and will need to have working knowledge, experience, and understanding of end to end supply chain activities. This position requires a high level of personal accountability and responsibility in our Dallas, TX location.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide status reports, briefs, and metrics relating to performance and mission readiness

  • Coordinate to ensure current supply status and contract commitments meet program schedules and plans

  • Interface with program and customer information management systems

  • Identifies and resolves customer supply chain management issues and discrepancies.

  • Demonstrates leadership through coordination of efforts between Supply Chain, Engineering, Program, Warehouse, Finance, and Contracts.

  • Analyzes post production supply chain data to define reorder points and quantities and coordinates for economy of purchases.

  • Analyzes supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities, capacity and performs assessment of configuration change impact to supply support system.

  • Assists with order close outs.

  • Assists in the collection and processing of supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include supply capabilities, capacity and performance

  • Ensure budget / EAC accountability for plan and open orders

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3 to 5+ years of experience in asset management, order management, supply chain, or supplier management.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

  • Experience in Aerospace, Supply Chain, and Logistics

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field  

  • Possess excellent communication skills allowing for cross functional interaction with the Customer, Program, supply chain, contracts, finance, engineering, and quality

  • Position requires strong organizational, communication and presentation skills

  • Experience with asset management systems & tools including supply planning & forecasting tools MS2, SPO, GOLD, TAV, WOW, COPPR, NWP and knowledge of Sales, Inventory, Operations and Planning (SI&OP)

  • Strong knowledge and experience in military supply support environment including demand and inventory management of company-owned material, customer owned material and program/contract material

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $96,050 - $129,950
