Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Mid-Level Information Technology Project Specialist (Scrum Master) to support our business in Dallas, TX or Renton, WA. This organization supports Digital Commerce program for Boeing.

We are seeking a Senior Scrum Master with strong SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) experience and a background in digital commerce. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Scrum Master (or equivalent Agile delivery role), excels at enabling high-performing teams, and can operate effectively within a large-scale Agile/SAFe environment delivering customer-facing commerce solutions.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Scrum Master for one or more cross-functional Agile teams focused on digital commerce products (e.g., e‑commerce platforms, checkout, payment integrations, personalization, CMS, or marketplaces)
  • Coach teams in Agile and Lean principles, Scrum practices, and SAFe ceremonies (PI planning, System Demo, Inspect & Adapt)
  • Facilitate Agile events: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and PI-related activities
  • Remove impediments and resolve team-level and organizational dependencies to maintain predictable delivery
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Product Managers, Release Train Engineers, architects, and engineering leads to align priorities and refine the backlog
  • Track and communicate team metrics (velocity, predictability, flow, cycle time) to drive continuous improvement
  • Foster a culture of psychological safety, continuous learning, and experimentation, coach teams on technical and DevOps best practices where applicable
  • Support cross-team coordination and integration work across the ART (Agile Release Train) or portfolio
  • Ensure quality and delivery of commerce features by working with QA, UX, security, and operations teams throughout the delivery lifecycle
  • Contribute to Agile transformation efforts, training, and community-of-practice activities

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

  • 3+ years’ experience as a Scrum Master (or related Agile role) in software delivery
  • SAFe experience: participating in and facilitating PI planning, ART ceremonies, and SAFe practices
  • Experience working in the digital commerce space (e‑commerce platforms, payment systems, order management, personalization, or related domains)
  • Experience in facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience with Agile tooling (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally) and metrics/reporting

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or SAFe Practitioner (SPC) certification, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)/Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
  • SAFe and/or Scrum certification preferred (e.g., SAFe SSM/SSP, CSM, PSM)
  • Experience of removing impediments, resolving dependencies, and improving team delivery performance
  • Experience with microservices, APIs, cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps pipelines in commerce contexts
  • Background working with UX/product design, analytics, and personalization platforms
  • Prior experience as a Release Train Engineer (RTE) or working closely with RTEs.
  • Experience with payment gateways, fraud prevention, or regulatory compliance relevant to commerce

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range: $116,450 – $157,550
