The Boeing Global Services organization has an opportunity for a Procurement Agent (Associate) to join the Supplier Management team located in Dallas, TX.  The successful candidate will support procurement activities for aftermarket goods and services in a fast-paced environment while learning new skills, solving challenging problems, and experiencing opportunities to grow in the Supply Chain organization.

This position acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply

  • Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements

  • Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements

  • Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, Procurement and/or strategic sourcing practices and processes

  • 1+ years of experience working in a fast paced, collaborative team environment

  • 1+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree and typically 1+ or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 1+ years of experience in Supplier Management/Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer is highly desired.

  • Experience in proposing, negotiating, and executing contracts and/or subcontracts in support of US Government requirements is desired.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $54,000.00 – $76,000.00

Employment, and the continuity of employment of non-U.S. persons, is contingent upon the company’s ability to secure and maintain the necessary export control authorization.
