The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Information Technology Business Partner to join the team in Dallas, TX or Seattle, WA

This individual will join the Information technology (IT) Business Partner team and be the primary partner supporting Supply Chain within the Boeing Global Service (BGS) division.

A successful IT Business Partner will leverage technical and business knowledge to ensure value added IT services are identified, planned and delivered to meet customer commitments and business performance objectives integrating all Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) disciplines, products and services to enable business/program success.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and act as an internal consultant at a strategic/enterprise level between the BGS business and IT to understand priorities and develop a strategy to ensure business objectives are met

  • Lead the education of the Business’ senior leadership on IT service offerings

  • Collaborate directly with the business or function to understand problems or initiatives, and represent the business or function within IT at the highest levels to engage the right resources, explore alternatives and help deploy the right solution with first time quality

  • Direct the development and execution of communication plans, including status to leadership and to business or function stakeholders

  • Oversee the identification of risks and impacts and coordinates with business or function senior leadership to approve mitigation plans or changes to commitments

  • Provide input and lessons learned on IT processes, procedures, tools and techniques, and ensure alignment to quality management solutions for the business or function

  • Accountable for the dollars spent, funding, and affordability in support of their applicable business unit(s) or function(s)

  • Collaborate with BGS partners to develop long term strategies, leveraging technology to meet business objectives and engage with IT partners to develop implementation plans within funding targets and aligning to customer commitments

  • Serve as the IDT&S advisor to the BGS team with a proactive approach to addressing business needs

  • Engage across IDT&S disciplines and with the business to manage IDT&S finances/affordability, ensure performance to Long Range Business Plan (LRBP), and prioritization of IDT&S statement of work

  • Define strategies for new IT services to support business needs, lead in the development of business cases requiring IT-based solutions and track Return of Investment (ROI) for business initiatives (cost, benefits, risk)

  • Serve as the voice of the business to IDT&S

  • Advocate for IDT&S strategies and initiatives

  • Engage in the promotion of technology, innovation, business simplification and best practice sharing to create business value while leveraging the breadth of IDT&S capabilities and service offerings

  • Establish and nurture strategic industry and vendor relationships while maintaining a forward-looking perspective that aligns with the business’s evolving requirements and the aviation supply chain’s trajectory

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience leading projects

  • 5+ years of experience functioning in a cross-functional environment

  • Experience developing and executing IT project plans via waterfall or SAFe methodologies

  • Experience acquiring, documenting, and managing requirements for an IT project

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

  • 3+ years of experience maintaining an organized management system and prioritizing work statements

  • Experience with previous analytical, communication and problem solving skills

  • Experience working in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and/or Agile environment

  • Experience with Portfolio Management

  • Experience with strong business acumen

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $124,100 – $167,900
