The (Boeing Flight Management System) BFMS Systems & Data Analyst Experienced, Senior or Lead provides engineering-level Technical Support for the Boeing BFMS Data Service.  Communicates directly with customers via email, phone or web. Resolves problems and questions regarding aeronautical content, format or errors/omissions in products that are escalated from Customers, other Support Channels, and Sales/Services. customers.  Investigates product functional issues and determines appropriate actions for resolution.  Serves as key contact point (liaison) between the customer and internal data production groups.  Records customer interaction and resolution details in a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.  Acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Product Management, and Boeing Engineering.  Provides input on new product implementations as well as current product modifications.  Performs other duties as assigned. This role can be located in Englewood CO or Seattle, WA.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer-facing technical service & support for Boeing BFMS Data Service™
  • Resolve problems and handle requests relating to the aeronautical content in Boeing BFMS Data Services
  • Investigate complex technical issues and provide recommended solutions to customers and internal stakeholders
  • Ensuring that the Data Services Flow through the Data Systems
  • Facilitate the errors and warning processes while monitoring the database processing
  • Process Rev. 2 requests – Database Re-deliveries
  • Configure Customer Nav Database
  • Supporting ongoing Regulatory Documentation needs
  • Considerable ability to maintain effective working relationships in a team environment
  • Build team technical capability through sharing of knowledge & expertise with others
  • Support Software development efforts, testing of versions, and communicate solutions to cross-functional teams
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3 years or more experience with ARINC 424 Navigation Data
  • 3 years or more experience with Commercial Avionics Platforms
  • 3 years or more experience with AIRAC Production Schedules
  • 3 years or more proficiency with Instrument Flight Procedures 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 4 years or more experience with ARINC 424 Navigation Data
  • 5 years or more experience with ARINC 424 Navigation Data
  • Bachelor's degree or higher or relevant experience
  • Knowledge of Navigation Database extract & delivery
  • Knowledge of ARINC-424 coding rules preferred
  • Knowledge of Avionics OEM systems & data compatibility preferred
  • Knowledge in government-issued navigation data documents (AIP, AIP AMDT/SUP, AICs, FAA Form 8260s, NFDDs, etc.)
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM preferred or other CRM systems
  • Pilot or flight navigation experience preferred

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary Pay Range:

Level 3 $93,500.00-$126,500,00

Level 4 $118,150-$159,850.00

Level 5 $138,550.00-$187,450.00
