Boeing’s Global Real Estate & Facilities (GREF) organization is currently seeking three 2nd Shift Facilities Multi-Services Manager (Level K) to lead our Northwest Factory Services/Custodial teams. These roles will be based in Everett, WA, with the potential to be assigned to other facilities in the region based on future business needs.

As part of the GREF organization, the selected candidates will be responsible for activities within facilities including planning, analysis, project administration, property administration, provisioning, engineering, construction, factory services/custodial and plant & equipment maintenance. 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage employee activities within the facilities occupation including custodial cleaning services and facilities maintenance

  • Manage, coach, leads develop and motivate employees

  • Develop and maintain a positive “Safety First” environment and ensure employee performance complies with all established safety processes and expectations

  • Develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures, set operational goals and drive accountability within the team

  • Acquire resources for projects and processes, provide technical management of suppliers and lead process improvements

  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, business partners and employees 

  • Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

  • Participate in equipment make/buy decisions; participates in source selection and provides technical oversight of suppliers

  • Learn and then lead Boeing problem solving (BPS) and lean efforts 

  • Learn and then lead with a Seek, Speak & Listen (SS&L) mindset

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Valid state driver’s license                                                             

  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role, leading teams or projects to successful completion

  • 1+ years of experience in teaching, coaching, and developing others

  • Verbal & written communication, and critical thinking skills

  • Experience collaborating across teams with proactive communication skills

  • Experience using MS Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • 3+ years of experience in facilities operations or facilities management

  • 3+ years of experience developing & implementing technical, operational or quality strategies

  • 1+ year experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Software Systems

  • Experience leading in a union environment

  • Experience in strategic decision-making and continuous learning, with a proven ability to foster accountability within a team

  • Experience with strategic decision-making and continuous learning skills with the ability to drive accountability within a team

Drug Free Workplace:

Shift:

This role will be primarily 2nd shift and may move to another shift or an alternate work week based on future business needs. 2nd shift is typically 3:00 pm PT - 11:30 pm PT, Monday through Friday. You may be required to work off shift, weekends and holidays in support of the facilities work statement as needed. You will participate in weekend duty rotation, approximately three to five weekends annually.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range: $115,600 - $156,400
