Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Quality Workforce Strategy Manager to oversee the BCA Quality centralized hiring and skill team operations in Everett, WA.

As a Quality Workforce Manager, you will collaborate with skill focal points across Quality functions and programs, focusing on employee acquisition, redeployment, and other employee movements, including skill and career development.

In this position, you will be responsible for developing and executing hiring processes and standards. Additionally, you will acquire and manage resources and lead process improvements. Building and maintaining relationships/partnerships with customers, peers, partners, suppliers, and direct reports will be essential.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional integrity and authenticity, possess strong strategic thinking abilities, and be a continual learner with a talent for effectively transferring knowledge. We are looking for individuals whose professional experience enables them to work effectively with teams across various functions. Ideally, you will possess high emotional intelligence and empathy, allowing you to leverage insights from your professional journey to enhance the development of those around you.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team that includes Skill focals and Skill team analysts

  • Partner with other functions to ensure processes used to manage, develop and improve areas are effective and integrated

  • Develop and execute business plans, policies and procedures

  • Monitor and act to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the team

  • Provide education and coach on connecting the quality systems and processes

  • Understand business objectives, strategies, and conditions affecting all areas of the programs

  • Develop and maintain partnering relationships with program leaders, quality stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3 + years of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or in a highly regulated industry

  • 1+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role

  • 1+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior executives, customers, stakeholders, peers and partners

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in a production-related discipline such as Manufacturing, Quality, Production, Engineering, Supplier Management, and/or Supplier Quality

  • Experience in cross-functional leadership, collaborative problem solving, building lasting relationships & proficiency in written and verbal communication

  • Previous experience as a Skills or Staffing Focal

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary Pay Range: $133,500 - $159,850
