The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Early Career Business Intelligence Analyst to join the Manufacturing & Safety Analytics team in Everett, WA.

The selected candidate will design, develop, and maintain analytics solutions that deliver step-function business improvement for commercial airplane manufacturing across multiple states.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, web applications, data pipelines, and automation scripts leveraged to execute business objectives.
  • Develop methods for acquiring and interrogating business data to create meaningful visualizations/metrics and drive process improvements.
  • Identify opportunities to apply automation to business processes to reduce administrative burden and increase efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on iterative solution development (validate assumptions, facilitate user testing, seek input from Subject Matter Experts, etc.)
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues with limited information or guidance.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related quantitative/technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Demonstrated experience with SQL, querying relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, Redshift, BigQuery)
  • Ability to optimize queries and data pipelines for performance and scalability.
  • Demonstrated experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Tableau.
  • Demonstrated experience using Python (Pandas, NumPy, etc.) for data cleaning, transformation, exploration, and analysis.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Demonstrated experience in web application development and object-oriented programming (python frameworks and/or react)
  • Experience with GitLab or GitHub for version control, collaborating in code development with others
  • Familiarity with cloud environments and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes, etc)

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor’s Degree) and typically 2 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master’s Degree or 6 years of related work experience).
