Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Senior Business Operations SpecialistWork Statement Management (Level 4 or 5) to join the Product Development Business Operations team based out of Everett, Washington.

The PD Business Operations team is responsible for all aspects of running the Product Development business, on-behalf of the organization’s VP/GM, and for ensuring program management discipline in early development. We have exciting and challenging positions within our team to facilitating and integrating business planning & execution across Product Development. Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads and support Work Statement Management for Product Development
  • Supports cross-functional integration of Long Range Business Planning for Product Development.
  • Partners with Integrated Product Team leaders to interpret, assess, and make recommendations based upon financial performance reports.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining cost and/or schedule performance measurement baselines to ensure accurate tracking, forecasting and reporting Leads integration of variance analyses and provides insights on financial performance to senior and executive management.
  • Makes recommendations to senior management on financial performance projections using financial and business knowledge and experience
  • Leads the integration of cross-functional activities to support complex business cases.
  • Provides leadership and governance within decision-making bodies (CCB, BMC).
  • Strong people skills to drive alignment across Product Development and its Integrated Product Teams combined with a high level of discretion in handling confidential information and following information security practices.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years relevant experience with program management and best practices
  • 5+ years leading integration across cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills and experience presenting to executive level leadership.
  • Familiarity with formal change control or governance processes (e.g., Change Control Board, baseline management).

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Industrial Engineering, General Management, Facilities, or a related field; advanced degree (MS, MBA) a plus.
  • Familiarity with Boeing processes, standards, and site governance.
  • PMI certification (Project Management) and 5-10 years of MS&I/Communication planning experience, as well as a background in stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience with work statement control, work statement management, directives and other business operations related processes
  • Experience in finance, cost accounting, or related field
  • Familiarity with Program Management Best Practices (PMBP)
  • Experience working in a dynamic work environment, to include managing multiple priorities
  • Experience working on airplane programs, in a manufacturing environment and/or supporting the production system
  • Understanding of the production system value stream, i.e., sales, engineering, supply
  • chain, production, etc.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Everett, Washington.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Pay Summary:

Level 4 $118,320 - $140,060

Level 5 $145,290 - $172,960
