Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Production Engineering is seeking a Senior or Lead Level Business Process Analyst to join the Business Integration team. In this role, you will lead high-impact, cross-functional process improvement and automation efforts that improve efficiency, quality, and operational performance across Production Engineering.

This position is focused on leveraging process analysis, automation, AI/ML-enabled solutions, and data-driven methods to streamline work, reduce manual effort, and improve end-to-end business processes. You will partner with Production Engineering leadership and other stakeholders to discover, document, and redesign processes, drive implementation, and support sustainable adoption.

In addition, this role supports Production Engineering University by designing curriculum, course content, instructional materials, and job aids that help embed improved processes into day-to-day operations and onboarding.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Senior or Lead Level.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex process discovery and redesign efforts across Production Engineering, using process mining, data analysis, stakeholder workshops, and continuous improvement methods.
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize automation, AI, and ML opportunities; translate process requirements into clear deliverables for implementation teams.
  • Develop business cases, ROI estimates, implementation plans, and success measures for process improvement initiatives and automation pilots.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, decision matrices, standard work, and governance materials to support compliance, repeatability, and sustainment.
  • Partner with IT, systems owners, and cross-functional stakeholders to support implementation, user acceptance testing, deployment, and post-launch validation.
  • Define, implement, and monitor process KPIs and dashboards; analyze results and present improvement opportunities to leadership.
  • Design, develop, and manage curriculum, course materials, job aids, assessments, and instructional content for Production Engineering University and onboarding programs.
  • Mentor junior analysts and serve as a subject matter expert in process methodology, instructional design, and AI-enabled process improvement.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Instructional Design, Engineering, Information Systems, Education, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in business analysis, process analysis, operations improvement, or project/business transformation.
  • Experience with automation and AI tools for process improvement in a corporate environment, such as RPA platforms, generative AI, or ML-assisted process discovery tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data, including Excel, SQL, BI tools, and similar.
  • Experience facilitating cross-functional workshops and managing stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience designing, developing, and managing curriculum, e-learning content, instructor-led training, and instructional materials.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and authoring tools such as Articulate, Captivate, Xyleme, or similar.
  • 15 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Lead Level)

  • Summary pay range for Senior (Level 4): $119,850 - 162,150

  • Summary pay range for Lead (Level 5): $154,700 - $209,300
