Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Senior Business Process Analyst to join the Core Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) team in Everett, Washington, North Charleston, SC, or Renton, Washington.

This exciting opportunity will document enhancement requirements and perform testing prior to releases for our current Manufacturing Execution Systems (CMES and Velocity) to enable factory production.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Communicate and coordinate with stakeholders in Operations, Engineering, IT and Quality to gather and document business requirements for critical software systems

  • Consult the business on current MES capabilities to inform enhancement and future system development

  • Develop and maintain expertise in CMES/Velocity system integrations, limitations and control policies

  • Develop test scripts, release notes, and other content in support of MES release activities – owning your enhancements from inception to deployment

  • Participate in User Validation Testing and End User Checkouts during MES Releases, including support during weekends

  • Navigate ambiguous and complex issues with limited information in a timely manner

  • Investigate technical and configuration issues for CMES/Velocity in partnership with IT and factory stakeholders to support manufacturing execution

  • Develop and maintain expertise in CMES/Velocity system integrations, limitations and control policies

  • Develop and maintain user guides, tipsheets, training content, and other communications material related to MES user access provisioning, audits, and other processes

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 

  • 7+ years of experience working in a manufacturing/production environment

  • 7+ years of experience working in a cross-functional environment

  • 3+ years of experience teaching or explaining concepts to technical and non-technical audiences

  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work any shift and weekends when tests are being performed around the clock

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

  • Experience with Boeing’s CMES and/or Velocity system(s) and business processes

  • 5+ year of experience effectively communicating complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences 

  • 3+ years of experience in a technical or factory support role requiring root cause analysis and resolution

  • Familiarity with Boeing lean frameworks, processes and tools

  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, HCL Leap, and/or Tableau

  • Experience writing test scripts

  • Experience with ERP and CRM systems, such as SAP and/or Salesforce

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary pay range:

Washington

$119,850 - $132,540

South Carolina

$112,000 - 124,000
