The Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA)Customer Engineering organization is seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Specialist or Staff Analyst to become their next Chief of Staff (Senior or Principal).  This Level 4 or Level 5 position is primarily located in Everett, WA and requires occasional travel to Renton, WA.

The BCA Customer Engineering organization is a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team responsible for the contractual configuration of all BCA aircraft.  We leverage our airline customer and market insights to curate experiences and solutions to surpass our customer’s expectations and drive preference for Boeing products. 

The Chief of Staff serves as a strategic partner and analyst supporting executive leadership.  This role is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of organizational plans and objectives, driving cross-functional initiatives, and ensuring alignment with business goals.  The Chief of Staff facilitates collaboration across multiple business units, leads the coordination of executive reviews, oversees facility requirements, and champions employee-related programs to enhance organizational effectiveness. 

The ideal candidate must possess strong analytical and leadership skills, who can navigate ambiguity, foster collaboration, and deliver results that support BCA’s Customer Engineering’s strategic priorities.  This role requires a proactive, highly organized, detail-oriented professional with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to influence and drive complex projects in a fast-paced environment. 

Primary responsibilities:

  • Develops and deploys broad organizational plans and strategies.

  • Leads projects and initiatives that are across multiple functions and business units.

  • Consults and collaborate with executive leadership to develop meeting purpose and content.

  • Develops and maintains executive reviews, performance metrics, project schedules and budget. 

  • Develops advanced job practices, techniques and standards for the organization.

  • Oversees business unit level facility requirements.

  • Leads the development, planning and execution of employee-related activities and initiatives.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • 10+ or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

  • 5+ years of experience working with Senior Leaders/Executives to establish strategic plans and objectives.

  • 5+ years of experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects, transactions or initiatives.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience facilitating executive-level meetings.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

  • Level 5: 15+ or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field is preferred

  • Experience building positive relationships, collaborating effectively, and communicating clearly.

  • Proven track record of driving organizational change and employee engagement initiatives.

  • Experience managing facility requirements and site-wide employee programs.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data-driven decision making.

  • Ability to lead training and development activities.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range:

  • Senior (Level 4): $104,550 - $141,450

  • Lead (Level 5): $127,500 - $172,500
