The Boeing Company is looking for an Experienced or Lead Propulsion Fuels Engineer (Level 3 or Level 4) in Everett, WA.

This role works closely with internal Boeing customers to define and develop the future of fluid mechanical analysis methodology within Boeing, integrates across the product life cycle from development to out-of-service sustaining programs, and coordinates with customers across Boeing enterprise regions and business units to meet company priorities.

Position Responsibilities:
• Performs modeling and analysis for Boeing Airplane Fuel Systems.
• Designs and develops additional modeling and analysis capabilities within an existing tool ecosystem.
• Operates in a Developer-Operator (DevOps) work environment as both a user and developer of a set of software tools.
• Works closely with customers to identify software tool needs and clearly

communicates progress and schedule.
• Provides support and training to customers through personal interactions and documentation.
• Manages conflicting priorities and determines the most valuable usage of time and resources within constraints.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in an engineering or science related field
• 3+ years of experience in flight test, laboratory testing, data analysis, instrumentation, system integration and/or simulation
• 3+ years of experience with MATLAB, Simulink and Simscape for data analysis, modeling and simulation


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 3+ years of experience performing analysis or modeling tasks
• 5+ years of experience with Propulsion and Fuels Engineering within Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA)
• 5+ years of experience in flight test, laboratory testing, data analysis, instrumentation, system integration, and/or simulation

• 5+ years of experience in MATLAB, Simulink and Simscape for data analysis, modeling and simulation

• Understands GitLab, Mattermost, CATIA, CI/CD Pipelines and software development principles
• Capable of thinking through long-term side effects and impacts of decisions

• Excellent communication skills and ability to clearly communicate complex scenarios with internal and external executives
• Self-motivated and ability to effectively work with ambiguous requirements
• Exceptional project and time management skills - must be able to manage and prioritize multiple projects in support of key milestones and aircraft delivery schedules

• Able to work effectively with the entire value stream to accomplish desired results

• Able to independently develop innovative solutions that meet business targets

• Possesses a diverse technical background and have a general knowledge of manufacturing processes

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business

considerations. 

Summary pay range Experienced (Level 3): $100,300 - $135,700

Summary pay range Level Lead (Level 4): $121,500 - $164,450
