Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Structures Core Engineering Design team has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Project Management Specialist (Level 3) in Everett, WA, to support our Certification team.

This position provides support to the Senior Manager and first-level Managers of the BCA Structures Core Engineering Certification Team. It is a key role responsible for integration and planning across all teams directly involved in the certification of our commodities.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.

  • Performs studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives.

  • Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project.

  • Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers.

  • Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.

  • Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.

  • Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will also have both the background knowledge and the desire to dynamically shift priorities to take on additional cross-functional responsibilities, such as:

  • Performs project tasks that meet identified requirements by application of, or in accordance with, accepted project management standards in the industry (e.g., PMI, Project Management Body of Knowledge [PMBOK], ANSI, and ISO standards).

  • Provides reports, project status and change information to project team per established processes and communicates plan changes and recovery plans to others.

  • Uses negotiating skills by engaging with specific organizational and project task owners to improve project performance commitments.

  • Responsible for the development and update of task specific, plans, deliverables and schedules.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 7+ years of experience collecting data from multiple sources, performing analysis and presenting data

  • 7+ years of experience with articulating data analysis summaries verbally or via PowerPoint presentations to various audience including senior management.

  • 7+ years of experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications such as SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project.

  • Experience facilitating the meetings and presenting to senior leaders.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Manager Professional (PgMP) certification.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.

  • Experience building positive relationships, collaborating effectively, and communicating clearly.

  • Ability to lead teams and communicate well across all levels.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range : $93,500 - $126,500
