The Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA), Digital Engineering PLM (DE-PLM) Organization has an exciting opportunity for an Export Process Management Specialist (Experienced & Senior) to join the Export Compliance & Integration team in Everett, Washington, Renton, Washington or NorthCharleston, South Carolina.

The Export Process Management Specialist is responsible for supporting our team in navigating complex regulatory environments and ensuring compliance with export regulations. The ideal candidate will provide feedback on regulatory updates, support export analysis, and assist in the development of tools for export compliance. This role will also involve collaboration with various stakeholders to promote export knowledge and facilitate training.

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Lead activities to review and classify documents relevant to certification, configuration, data management, and engineering processes.
  • Develop, document, and implement plans and processes to ensure products meet technical, data, regulatory, and company requirements while maintaining configuration control.
  • Track and report data to monitor adherence to regulatory, data configuration, and contractual requirements; conduct audits and reviews to ensure products meet requirements.
  • Assist in the testing and user acceptance of applications and tools.
  • Serve as the primary export focal for BCA airplane programs, coordinating with Global Trade Controls for licensing and authorizations.
  • Collaborate with Global Engineering sites to educate stakeholders on export compliance requirements and processes.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):             

  • Associate’s degree and minimum of 6 years of experience in process engineering, configuration management, or a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in product data management, configuration control, or a similar role with tools such as ENOVIA, PDM, REDARS, PSDS, OneSAP, etc.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and data management processes.
  • Proven ability to lead projects and initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 9 or more years of experience in process engineering, configuration management, or a related discipline within the aerospace industry.
  • Strong understanding of export regulations and compliance processes.
  • Strong understanding of export regulations and compliance processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of export regulations and compliance processes.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary Pay Range (Level 4): $101,150 - $146,050

Summary Pay Range (Level 5): $119,000 - $172,500
