Boeing’s Projects, Assets, Construction, and Engineering (PACE) organization is currently seeking a collaborative, hands-on First Line Manager to lead Enterprise-wide Project Management for large-scale programs. 

This frontline leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence across a diverse portfolio of facilities, infrastructure and large-scale construction project management initiatives. The position balances team leadership and development with technical oversight and consistent, measurable project delivery. 

Based on-site in Everett, WA or Mesa, AZ, this role offers hands-on project leadership, strong visibility and opportunities for career growth while supporting significant facilities and construction initiatives across the US. The position provides competitive compensation, professional development and regular engagement with senior leadership. 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of internal and external projects managers

  • Define project and process plans per company standards, set performance goals and implement processes and standard work to ensure consistent execution

  • Create and sustain a safe environment to discuss project risks, issues and opportunities, attack roadblocks and guide teammates to effective, timely and sustainable solutions

  • Provide technical oversight and approval of scope, approaches, deliverables and quality of vendor-performed work

  • Acquire and allocate resources, manage budgets and schedules and drive process improvements to deliver projects on time, on budget and to quality expectations 

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with site customers, stakeholders, peers and business partners to ensure needs are met and escalations are resolved using the appropriate level of communication for the respective audience

  • Own team performance metrics and reporting while leading continuous improvement and risk mitigation activities

  • Leverage available systems and technology, with a focus on quality of data for execution and reporting accuracy

  • Able to travel domestically up to 25% of the time

Basic Qualifications (RequiredSkills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience developing and delivering presentations to senior leaders 

  • 5+ years of experience in Facilities Project Management or Construction Management

  • 3+ years of experience leading or managing large or complex teams of managers and or non-management employees 

  • 25% domestic travel 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (engineering, construction management, facilities, architecture, or related field preferred) 

  • Experience with construction/project leadership (planning, implementing, and executing facility projects) 

  • Experience with Procore, Microsoft Project (or equivalent), and PowerPoint 

  • Experience as a strategic business partner with strong customer service orientation and teamwork skills 

  • Experience with Long Range Business Plans (LRBP), real estate project management, and space planning

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary Pay Range: $119,000 - $172,500
