Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking First-Line Flightline Operations Managers (Level K) to join the 767 Tanker Operations Team in Everett, Washington. This position is available for our 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift. The shift will be determined at the time of offer.

The successful candidates will ensure that air vehicles are completed and pass certification for airworthiness by leading all aspects of final component installation, systems operation, functional testing, modification, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, preflight and post-flight checks, release for flight, and preparation for delivery.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Works with flight crews, engineering, management, suppliers, and customers to meet product requirements and ensure customer acceptance

  • Develops and completes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures, and sets operational goals

  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers, and leads process improvements

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes

  • Leads, develops, and motivates employees

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Everett, WA.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in an Aerospace, Fabrication or Manufacturing environment

  • 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role

  • 3+ years of experience working in cross-functional teams

  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Possess an FAA Airframe and Power Plant License OR the aircraft years and experience necessary to obtain an FAA Repairman's certificate

  • Ability to work any shift including weekends and overtime

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in an aerospace or manufacturing environment

  • 5+ years of experience managing projects and using standard project management tools

  • 3+ years of experience in flight line operations

  • 3+ years of experience in functional testing

  • 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing role

  • 2+ years of experience using Common Manufacturing Execution System

  • 2+ years of experience reading and interpreting drawings or blueprints

Shift: This position is for 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift and will be determined at the time of offer.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary Pay Range: $120,600 - $147,400

Security Clearance

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. A final U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start is required.
