Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Quality Human Resources (HR) team has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Human Resources Business Partner (Senior or Lead) in Renton, WA or Everett, WA. This leader is responsible for providing strategic HR leadership and support to the Quality Workforce Planning and Development team while reimagining and implementing new skill team processes and pay practices that attract, retain and motivate exceptional Quality professionals around the world.

This role is responsible for creating innovative staffing solutions, pay strategies while building a talent pipeline for rate readiness for Commercial Airplanes & Fabrication. The top candidate will have great business acumen, critical thinking skills and a creative approach to solving problems. Additionally, a strong background in workforce planning, staffing, compensation practices, positive employee relations, labor relations, and focus on talent pipeline health and development are key for this role.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Senior HR Business Partner responsible for leading the skills management and development for 7,500+ Quality employees including hourly represented, salary represented, salary non-represented and management job roles.
  • Drive functional discipline and functional excellence through standardization and customization when needed.
  • Closely partner with BCA Manufacturing Workforce Planning team to ensure Quality is aligned and integrated with staffing, training and leadership development initiatives.
  • Work closely with the Quality and Manufacturing Skill teams, Global Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development and workforce development to execute Quality staffing plans
  • Responsible for Quality’s Health of Function scorecard by collecting data and analyzing trends to improve productivity and engagement to increase the effectiveness of the function.
  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes & policies, collective bargaining agreements, and site policies to recognize the impact throughout the talent value stream.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in a role utilizing business acumen and understanding
  • 5+ years of experience in deploying and administering HR programs, policies, practices and processes
  • 5+ years of experience in influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders across functions
  • 5+ years of experience executing strategies and managing projects
  • Experience analyzing data and metrics to identify future organization needs
  • Experience working in a business environment partnering and strategizing HR initiatives with senior leaders
  • Experience with workforce planning and job classification

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years of experience or an equivalent combination of education or experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources
  • Human Resources certification(s)
  • Experience adapting to changing scope, responsibilities and job requirements
  • Experience partnering and communicating with all levels of the business
  • Strategic thinking, strong written and oral communication skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of business priorities and be able to translate them into action plans that drive business results
  • Experience collecting, organizing, synthesizing, and analyzing data for cross-functional teams

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range Senior (Level 4): $127,500 - $172,500 

Summary Pay Range Lead (Level 5): $161,500 - $218,500
