The Boeing Company is seeking an Industrial Athlete Program Manager to join the team in Everett, WA.

The Program Manager for the Industrial Athlete (IA) Program will lead all aspects of the site IA program to reduce workplace injuries and enhance employee health and safety. This role requires strategic planning, operational oversight, and close collaboration with internal teams, external suppliers, and key stakeholders. The Program Manager will serve as the primary liaison for IA at the site, driving continuous improvement, data-driven decision-making, and effective communication within the team and across the site.

Position Responsibilities:

Program Operations and Supplier Management

  • Responsible for IA program performance (e.g. achieving targets and metrics, meeting customer expectations, program effectiveness)

  • Oversee the supplier company providing injury prevention services, ensuring program delivery quality, compliance with the statement of work, and alignment with program goals

  • Provide guidance to the supplier on program operations, resource allocation, and strategic planning

  • Collaborate with the supplier through daily communications and scheduled meetings to ensure program alignment and effectiveness

  • Ensure a comfortable, respectful work environment for the IA team

  • Coordinate badging, computing accounts, telecommunications, technology support, and other Boeing administrative processes to allow for efficient supplier function

  • Handle IA facilities and maintenance issues

  • Oversee equipment and supplies ordering and verify all supplier invoices

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication

  • Create and maintain relationships with key stakeholder and customer contacts (e.g. medical clinics, EHS, HR, Fitness, Well Being, EAP, manufacturing operations)

  • Facilitate supplier connections with site stakeholders and operations teams

  • Provide education to the IA team on customer physical demands and culture to enhance injury prevention strategies

  • Work closely with EHS on injury prevention strategies (e.g. hot spot identification and strategies, incident investigation)

  • Represent the program at stakeholder meetings

  • Respond to data inquiries from internal groups (e.g. Workers Compensation, EHS, Medical Clinic)

Quality

  • Set the tone on excellence with supplier team members

  • Ensure that program standards are being met and if not, insist on a supplier action plan to address deficiencies

  • Work closely with supplier and Boeing quality leaders to address areas of concern and to facilitate continuous learning

  • Maintain program handouts, maps, signage, policies, and processes.

  • Oversee supplier interactions with Boeing customers to ensure quality and conformance with standards

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Use program usage data to tell the IA story and to develop actionable strategies

  • Create and maintain metric decks and customized customer reports for leadership at all levels

  • Prepare and distribute JC Attendance Reports and related communications

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience deploying occupational health and safety programs in an industrial setting

  • 5+ years of experience analyzing data, creating reports, and presenting results

  • 5+ years of experience working with suppliers or vendors

  • Capability to travel 10% of the time

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher

  • 5+ years of experience supporting cross-functional teams

  • 5+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role

  • 1+ years of experience with Tableau or similar data analytics tools

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $114,750 - $155,250
