The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Lead Procurement Financial Analyst to join the Primary Structures team in Everett, WA.

This role will lead the procurement finance activities for high-risk procurement actions for suppliers in Asia, Europe, and North America. You will be responsible for developing a comprehensive analysis of the suppliers’ Statement of Work (SOW), cost structure, contract terms and conditions, regional economic situation, supplier financial health and integration with the unique business situations. This position works closely with contracts to develop a strategy to capture best value, represent finance in on-going engagement with the suppliers and communicate within Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Finance function. Desired candidates will be able to work effectively with all functions, summarize complex situations and communicate effectively with all levels of leadership. These roles bridge finance, contracts, supply chain operations, strategy and sourcing teams to deliver risk mitigation, cost savings, improved supplier performance, and best value while maintaining scheduled completion dates.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive cost and spend analysis (by part category, business unit, geography) and identify cost, risk and opportunity drivers

  • Assess supplier financial health and suppliers best alternative to negotiating

  • Engage cross-functional stakeholders (finance, operations, legal, Engineering) to align objectives, constraints and strategy

  • Facilitate working sessions to define a common procurement vision and communicate financial analysis

  • Obtain executive buy-in for strategy and best value

  • Work collaboratively and respectfully while participating in supplier engagements to deliver risk mitigation and savings

  • Optimize supply chain value across cash flow, earnings, working capital and risk management

  • Ensure financial compliance throughout the process

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience as a Team Leader or Key Contributor

  • 5+ years of experience utilizing business or financial acumen to manage strategies and drive desired outcomes

  • 5+ years of experience in a finance or procurement-related position including but not limited to: Financial Operations, Procurement Finance, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, Contracting or Procurement Operations

  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and building consensus among internal and external stakeholders to drive strategic business outcomes and ensure timely delivery

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, business or a related field

  • Experience with the business environments for Sales, Procurement, and Manufacturing

  • Experience gaining trust by demonstrating openness and honesty, behaving consistently, and acting in accordance with moral, ethical, professional, and organizational guidelines

  • Experience with critical thinking to evaluate alternatives, risks, mitigations, and long-term solutions to significant business challenges

  • Experience collaborating effectively on cross-functional teams, leads with influence to deliver results

  • Experience developing and executing plans and tactics to deliver financial outcomes

  • Experience with organization and the ability to assess large work statements to identify key items that drive strategic priorities

  • Experience with aircraft structures, including fabrication and assembly processes

  • Ability to learn complex systems rapidly and to act on constructive feedback to improve performance

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $122,400 – $165,600
