Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is hiring multiple First-Line Manufacturing Managers (Level K) to fill multiple position / shift roles in 777/777X Wings in Everett, Washington on 1st and 2nd shift.

A successful manager in this role will have strong interpersonal and coaching skills that will further enable our business unit to achieve team and program goals while developing a work environment that promotes safety, quality, accountability, trust, and teamwork.

Within manufacturing we embrace a first-pass quality approach and require our leaders to be committed to our team members' success. FOD (Foreign Object Debris)-free product and Clean as You Go are also mandatory components of our production system, which require steadfast commitment to our standards, our people, and our customers. We are seeking a leader who is committed to helping our teammates and peers elevate and accelerate our business while holding steadfast to our values.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing subject areas.

  • Develops and implements business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.

  • Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers, and leads process improvements.

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, peers, partners, and direct reports.

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes.

  • Leads, develops, and motivates employees.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in an aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment.

  • 1+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role.

  • Ability to work any shift based on the needs of the business.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience using LEAN Manufacturing and/or Continuous Improvement practices and tools in the workplace.

  • 1+ years of experience mentoring, coaching, guiding and leading teams.

  • 1+ years of experience communicating to employees, customers, peers, and all levels of leadership.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay ranges: $109,800-$134,200/Annually
